Context
Within the Development (DEV) team of the ACQP (Continuous Improvement and Project Quality) department of the ALTEN Group's Technical Directorate (DDPS), the Product Owner works closely with technical departments, ODCs (Morocco, Romania...), and support functions, acting as the interface with development teams.
Objective
Contribute to the technical qualification and costing of new projects, understand business needs, and be proactive in translating solutions, then lead communication and deployment of developed solutions with tech leads.
1 - Needs Characterization
- Frame needs and, if necessary, lead clarification workshops with requesters.
- Contribute to technical qualification with developers.
- Contribute to the costing of new projects.
- Identify needs for service accounts, application accounts, and necessary access.
2 - Writing Specifications and Functional Specifications
- Lead the writing of specifications and functional specifications with requesters.
- Create Epics from specifications.
3 - Planning and Supervision of Development Phases
- Coordinate all involved stakeholders.
- Create JIRA tickets with developers.
- Lead agile routines: backlog reviews, costing meetings, retrospectives, demos.
- Monitor development progress.
- Prepare testing specifications with requesters.
4 - Supporting Requesters in Testing and Acceptance Phases
5 - Coordination of Production Deployment
6 - Leading Communication and Deployment
- Ensure the creation of a descriptive slide for each development.
- Ensure the update of the development catalog.
- Travel abroad is expected (especially to ODCs in Morocco, Romania...).
Required profile :
Education and Language
- Master's degree (Bac+5): Engineering degree or Master 2.
- 3 to 8 years of experience.
- Fluent English (communication with international ODCs).
Key Skills
- Project management (planning, multi-stakeholder coordination, progress monitoring).
- Analysis and synthesis (gathering and formalizing needs, writing specifications/functional specifications).
- Knowledge of the addressed businesses (technical departments, support functions).
- Knowledge of technical environments, ability to communicate with developers.
Tools and Methods
- Agile methods (Scrum): backlog, costing, retrospectives, demos.
- JIRA (Epics, tickets, sprint monitoring).
- Test and production deployment management.
Soft Skills
Proactive, service-oriented, comfortable leading workshops and meetings.
