    Within the Risk Department, the RISQ/CTL department is responsible for verifying the relevance and effectiveness of level 1 permanent control.

    The level 2 controller ensures, within their scope, that the control systems cover the operational risks of the activity, that they are correctly designed and executed. They carry out this mission through two levers: Reviewing the results of management surveillance controls: completion rates, anomaly rates, review of significant anomalies, monitoring their correction, etc. This analysis leads, if necessary, to the adjustment of the Pole's corrective action plans;

    Verifying certain controls, in order to evaluate:

    · The architecture of these controls: coverage of activity risks, compliance with Group standards (particularly the Regulatory Controls Library), relevance of the control design, etc.

    · The quality of their execution: deadlines, compliance with procedures, relevance of samples, frequency, quality of documentation, etc.

    · The quality of the follow-up of identified anomalies

    These tasks result in a qualified opinion on the effectiveness of first-level controls within the considered scope. This opinion is documented, then presented and explained to the management of the concerned scope, in order to ultimately contribute to the improvement of permanent control quality.

    The main role of the level 2 permanent controller is to ensure, within their scope, that the control systems cover the operational risks of the activity, meaning that they are correctly designed and executed.

    The position requires a high degree of autonomy. Placed under the supervision of a hierarchical manager who defines the framework for their interventions and assists them in case of difficulty, the operational risk controller has the necessary autonomy in the usual exercise of their mission to organize and conduct the work assigned to them. It will be necessary to review the control operating procedures if necessary, define reporting formats, and build the network of relationships enabling the exercise of their control mission.

    Required profile :

    With a Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school or university, the candidate has 1 to 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, ideally gained within Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office teams.

    They have a good knowledge of operational processes related to market activities (trading, booking, settlement, payments, etc.), as well as strong analytical, investigative, and synthesis skills, enabling them to identify significant anomalies, determine their root causes, and assess the associated operational risks.

    A good level of English, both written and spoken, is also required.
