Join a dynamic company in the Transport / Courier / Logistics sector, based in Casablanca. An exciting opportunity awaits you to take on the role of Chief Accountant. As a financial pillar, your mission will be to ensure the reliability and relevance of the company's accounting and financial information.
Your main goals will be to oversee all accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, actively participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes, and provide relevant analyses to support strategic decision-making. You will thus actively contribute to the performance and sustainability of our organization.
As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to:
- Supervise account keeping and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries.
- Prepare periodic financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes) in compliance with current standards.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing.
- Ensure the company's tax and social compliance.
- Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits.
- Implement and optimize accounting procedures.
- Oversee the preparation of tax declarations within legal deadlines.
- Participate in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Manage and develop the accounting team.
- Advise management on financial and accounting matters.
Required profile :
To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree (Bac +4) is required, ideally in Management, Accounting, or Finance.
More than 8 years of professional experience in similar roles is essential. In-depth knowledge of the transport and logistics sector would be a major asset.
- Mastery of Moroccan and international accounting standards.
- Excellent knowledge of computer tools and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Odoo software is a major asset.
- Proven analytical and synthesis skills.
- Rigor, organization, and autonomy.
- Strong management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive and ability to solve complex problems.
